About us

Hello!
I'm Frederika Araujo, the creator of Mandala by Drika!
Mandala by Drika was born with the idea of having a conscious and authentic brand. It is a space where I expose mandalas drawn by me freehand, it is art that becomes a form of presence as a result of my moments of meditation and inner expression.
Mandalas are circular diagrams with patterns of geometric, abstract or floral elements that expand infinitely outwards, they have a spiritual symbolism for Buddhists and Hindus who usually use different and millennial techniques to draw them as a tool for concentration and meditation.
I enjoy meditating and everything related to yoga, and mandalas have always been present in my life in some way. I always liked to color mandalas, but I had never dared to draw them because I didn't think I was capable.
One day, in a very spontaneous and intuitive way, during the pandemic in 2020, I took a paper and a pencil and started drawing, and that's how my first mandala was born! From this moment on I began to constantly draw and express my feelings about events that have happened to me through the mandalas, I understood that the beauty of the patterns created, even with their imperfect lines, led me to observe the roads and the beauty of life as it really is.
After being amazed by what I had just created, I felt an uncontrollable urge to keep drawing more and more. Over the years, I refined my strokes and found my own way of drawing mandalas while immersing myself in deep states of introspection. After listening to numerous suggestions from friends and family, I decided to create this self-knowledge project that helps me share this form of expression that transforms meditation into art, allowing other people to take that energy with them. More than a space to discover products, this site is an invitation to connect with a community that values health, well-being and the search for inner balance.
What's so special about my mandalas?
Each mandala is unique and exclusive, hand-drawn in black and white or color on white or black paper and then printed on t-shirts, bags, cushions, and other items. The print preserves the real, imperfect lines of authentic handmade art. No digital techniques are used to refine the mandala's lines.
I spent a considerable amount of time researching suppliers that provide quality organic cotton products, so that I could offer you a product that is not harmful to your health or the environment, following a more natural lifestyle possible and compatible with my philosophy of life.
More than a brand, we are a space to reconnect, to feel and to return to the center.
